Father in Heaven, we come before You in worship and quiet reverence. You are the faithful God, the One who watches over us with unfailing love. You are our righteousness, our peace, and our rest. You are near to those who call upon You, and Your presence is our refuge. We thank You that You neither sleep nor slumber, that Your care over us does not cease, and that Your mercies do not fail. With hearts turned toward You, we enter this prayer trusting in who You are and resting in what You have already spoken. As we lie down to sleep, we thank You that You are our peace and our comfort. Help us to release all our worries, fears, and doubts to You, and to trust in Your loving care. We thank You that You are the joy that fills our hearts, and that having You as our joy is greater than all the riches this world could ever give.
